7 Days of contractions, and 3 trips to the birthing center, then 40 hours of hard labor.

Joe Perry is here!

We had not expected to have Joe in a hospital. It was

 determined that baby Joe was in distress. Joe Perry

was born C-section at 9:23 am July 29.2007.

Joe holds this years record weight and size at HMSW,

of 9 pounds 14 ounces and 23 inches long .

He is a big and healthy boy, already looking around,

holding his head up, holding his chupon and drinking

 his bottle every 3 to 5 hours.

Exhaustion and worry is over. The sleepless nights

continue, though we are proud of our little champ.

Initial comments to the name of our son "way to go Joe",

'what to you know Joe?", " Here's

Joe all the way from Kokomo",

Get ready to hear a  lifetime of Joe rhyming.
