Our vacation road trip to L.A. went great.
We drove over 14 hours to our motel in Flgastaff, Arizona
We were cold very cold and bought a hooded sweatshirt,
then continued on to Los Angeles for another 12 hours of driving.
Joe rode in the backseat and he slept and watched his
Calliou and Super Why videos and his favorite film Cars.

L.A. weather was hot 100 degrees but I loved it. It was not humid.
I walked my usual 3 miles and drank hot coffee , while walking,
and did not sweat. Joe got to play with his cousins and Tios
and Tias,and Moma Lolita.

We had a great time and we got to go to "Real Food Daily"
in West Beverly Hills.A favorite show on Veria channel, Naturally
Delicious, features Ann Gentry's restaurant.
We were treated to the best brunch ever , all vegan of course.
We went on a nice cruise of the port of Los Angeles.
We went to a very fun wedding reception.
My first Mexican wedding. I did not know any of the music,
except for the opening tune 'La Negra', It was too loud.
I thought it was the funnest wedding party I have ever attended
We got to visit  Annettes former teacher Mrs. Shuman and
Katherine , They have the best view of L.A. I have ever seen.
We did not make it to Griffith Park,
We did have an excellent party for joe and cousin Daniel,
with a bounce house and zip line and a pinata.
Return to a long drive back to Texas. Almost no sleep and
great deal of back pain aside we had the best time ever.

October 14, and the Texas heat wave has found us with
a burnt out air conditioner compressor. A.C. is a definate
must have here in Old Cowtown.
We have had 8 weeks of rain and when the rain does stop
we had 90 degree temps and 90% humidity.
This goddamn place is miserable.
We plan on moving in one year to southern California.
