Today baby Joe is 18 months old! We did something he loves.
We went to the car show at the Fort Worth convention center.
Joe the baby looooves cars. He got to sit in several models,
no not models laps, just car seats. Joe was very popular,
with the auto show models and he got pissed when we
put him in his stroller.
My wife liked the Mazda 5  minivan . The BMW was nice,
a deisel.
I plan on driving an electric or french fry grease running
vehicle one of these days.

Speeding in Denmrk? Roadrage? Not in
Copenhagen. What'll it take to slow down?
TITS of course.
.Would this work in the U.S.A. ??
Of course not ,we are a repressed and perverted
people. The crash pile-ups for one reason not.
Armed guards would  be needed for each model ,
is another reason the U.S.A. is not ready for this.
see this about slowing traffic:

Today we went to the park and Joe got to feed
the ducks. We had no bread so we fed the ducks
goldfish (whole wheat) not a great kids food,
it is always in Joe's bag. The tiny goldfish crackers,
are not really high in sodium and really low in sugar.

Kids were throwing leftovers from fast food bags.
I started thinking how many kids are throwing hot dogs,
candy, do-nuts, kid foods in general are worthless
as far as nutition and health go.

Raising a healthy baby boy is impossible,
if you are to get your nuritional advise from
commercial tv and radio.
If you feed your kids
take-away food forget it, you can't be bothered,
with your childs health or nutrition.

Read all labels carefully, almost all of it,
man-made food has a lot of un-healthy additives,
preservatives, sugar lots of sugar and salt.
high fructose corn syrup, trans fats etc.

Every food marketed to kids should be banned
from schools and not advertised at all, just like
cigarettes . Soda pop, fizzy drinks should not be
advertised.
Remember.JoeCamel,Ads.?
All tobacco products should certainly be heavily
taxed and sold in plain brown wrappers.
Plain brown wrap is a  good idea for any kids food also..

Here is a good list of foods almost everyone buys,
foods with no nutitional value.

President Obama: Living Proof that Family Values Without Religion Build Character

  from :  American Humanist Association

ahaad

The ad uses Barack Obama’s own words about his Humanist mother to show that you can indeed raise excellent, moral, hard-working children without resorting to religion.

“We hear so much these days about how traditional religious family values are necessary for raising moral children who can grow into accomplished adults,” said American Humanist Association Executive Director Roy Speckhardt, father of two. “But we humanists have known for a long, long time that ethical humanist values build character. The number of moral and accomplished humanists is legion. We’ve been honoring the greatest of them every year since 1953 at our annual conferences. Now Barack Obama has given us the opportunity to share this truth with those from around the country who come to our nation’s capital to share in the inauguration experience.”

While not asking for donations, the ad may end up paying for itself.

Here’s hoping that people who need to see the ad do see it.

Even better, read the Post tomorrow while sitting on an Atheist Bus. Double whammy!

Don’t forget the Freedom From Religion Foundation will also have a quarter-page ad in the same newspaper.

You've given it to the world. Finally we give it to you. Fuck you  ! George W. Bush

Having endured eight long years of misguided leadership on the part of the Bush Administration, it is with great regret and well-bridled enthusiasm that we orchestrate PEACEFUL CIVIL DISRESPECT, in the form of raised middle fingers, on a worldwide massive scale as common citizen George W. Bush ascends by helicopter from the White House on his return to private life following the inauguration of a new American leader.

In his incapacity as President, George W. Bush has effectively lied, cheated, and plundered. His actions in arrogance, ignorance, and/or full knowledge have resulted in many Lives Lost, Families Destroyed, and a World Compromised. To date, neither he, nor his accomplices, have been held accountable or take responsibility.

This planned outpouring of Civil Disrespect intends to graphically memorialize the true Bush Legacy. While the vast number of innocent lives lost is undiscussed, petitions are overlooked, and legislation is inconvenient, it is hoped that a common crude hand gesture can bring attention to neglected crimes, and back-handedly restore American credibility. The middle finger gesture has been selected as a near universal symbol of dissatisfaction.

On this eve of our new president, My thoughts are of hope.
That of course was the brilliant campaign slogan of Barrack Obama.
Is this long nightmare of neo-con crime bosses in seemingly endless,
power grabs, destroying the constitition, and a complicent congress
ending tomorrow  ?

This reminds me of the days of my youth when long periods of un-
employment were a part of my life. I had finished college and
expected the job market to yield a better job for me.

I had at long last gotten a job as a night stock clerk supervisor,
for Goodwill Industries. A crummy job but a job and there was
some hope for me.

With the Innaugaration of Obama tomorrow. Will it in fact take place?
Will Obama be a vessel of change? With a continuing of
same old cabinet post appointments it seems unlikely.
His not stating that he will  seek  to prosecute the crimes of the
Bush regime is Hopefully  just a  smart move to keep quiet
about for now.

For me I feel like I did when I heard I would be getting a job with
Goodwill. It feels good, it may be a way to help others,
but it is not something to celebrate. Not yet, we will see.
The nightmare is not over yet.

Little Joe has gotten over a cold now for the new year.
He gave his dad and mom his little cold that had
turned quite big. My wife has been sick for 10 days.
She finally got medical treatment at a roadside
clinic, "Care Now", I don 't condone these places.
The best that can be said, treatment is usually no
more than 2 to 3 hours away.

With the deplorable health care in thie U.S.A. this
is an option. For expensive, yet fast medical care,
these clinics are in the neighborhood.
My wife was given shots ( anti-biotics) for her sinus
infection. She was prescribed medication and is at
long last recovering, and will be good as ever soon.

The last 2 days I spent getting my Certified Pool
Operators training and  testing completed.
Today Joe and I will return to our walking schedule.
This is the best way to get fit without a doubt.
With the weather cold and windy we have a mall
we go to , that does allow sun to get through if
there is some shining.

I will report back here later on our mall adventures.
Adios for now shoppers.

Busted! You get pulled for speeding, what do you do?
I always say never break more than one law at a time.
If you are speeding and you happen to have illegal
aliens in your trunk.Or you have just left a bar and
you have had 4 shots of jaegermiester and 5 beers.
The red light is too long for you to wait for, so you
speed through it.
You will get busted and the cop will not give you
any lienierncy. You will go to jail.
Here is an excellent video by the ACLU,
on how to properly handle a stop by the police.

Getting enough sleep?
Our baby boy has rarely awkened us in the middle of the
night and he has never put up a fuss about going to his
crib. One lesson I have learned from baby Joe, take a nap!

Joe naps daily as much as 2 hours at a time, this is great
for him, he is just under 18 months old.
In addition to a good crib nap, he naps anywhere
he can for at least 10 minutes.
When was the last time you had an afternoon siesta?
Every day at least for 10 minutes close your eyes, and rest.

My energy levels are increasing without the use of caffein.
Eating smaller portions , eating Vegan, sleeping 8 hours
at night. Reduce stress by driving less.
one way to relax and release tension. Soak in a hot tub,
or a bath if you don't have a pool or spa.

No, do not drink more coffeee,  say no to energy drinks.
Here are some excellent ways to gain more energy.

Poor baby Joe is sick with a cold. He is robust and
energetic. The worst is his appetite is off and he can't go
out and play. Well neither can I . Joe has passed his cold on
to his Mom and Dad. He does not mind a constantly
running nose or a cough that nearly causes vomiting.
The worst seams to be over and my hope is Joe and I,
can go back to walking every day.

All the snow has turned to water.
Xmas day has come and gone. Broken toys and
faded colors, are all that's left to linger on.

Malls and stores are sparsely populated now.
Going to the mall was never a thing to do before
in my single days. For me now, the mall,
is the best place to walk.

Right now a good walk at the mall is maybe 3 miles.
My wife got me the best shoes ever for Xmas.
MBT Shoes – Home of the Anti shoe ,
these are the best shoes I have ever owned.
The shoe was priced at over $280 at the Gallery
of Shops. We found a great pair for under $170.

My new exercise routine is walking over 3 miles
per day and a goal of 6 miles per day.
We have not fully gotten into the Gillian McKeith plan.
That is going to happen.
My aim is to be as healthy and full of energy as
baby Joe.

Likely as not in the new year this blog and others will
be updated more often. For Xmas my wife got me
a lightweight laptop. I will carry it in my diaper backpack.
When at home I hook it up to a 19 inch monitor,
and use a bluetooth mouse
My new laptop is the best,
It is a Dell XPS M1330 Laptop

A new year at last has arrived. My dear wife arrived late last night,
in time for us to see the Big D countown to New Years.
We kissed and told each other how much we loved each other and
our hopes for a great new year.

There have been times, in my life when a new year , or a perfect
piece of toast was a reason to celebrate. My wife and I had
2 drinks each and retired about 12:30 am.

Our baby boy is one reason we don't go out and party.
Another good reason to not drink non-stop,  is a hangover.
a throbbing head and aching muscles is really unbearable at
age 50 plus.  My wife was one of those people
who got really drunk once in her life, and never did over drink again.
Mostly I hate the feeling of extreme drunkedness.

My new years resolution is  to get in great shape and stay that way.
Eat and drink slowly and with a glass of water.
In 2007 I lost 25 pounds or 2 stone as the Englishters would say.
My plan is to continue to eat Vegan (of course) and work out!
Have a great New Year and find another way to happiness,
besides at the bottom of a bottle of booze.

Read this funny article on getting drunk.
