If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales.-Albert Einstein

Today mom read our son his Fairy Tales in Spanish,

Mom saw our baby boy today on his 4 month birthday,

flip over from back to front.

We went to his moms work bringing her a shrimp salad,

from Fuzzie's Taco Shop. I bathed Joe and gave him his

leche. He went right to sleep at 8 :30 pm and tonight

I heard him snoring for the first time!

We had a good thanksgiving . Many things we are thankful.

We have a healthy and happy son and a happy family.

my wife cooked, Tofurkey ,Green Bean Casserole ,Sweet Potato Casserole , mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie.

Today my wife shopped from about 8 am until 1 pm.

She is finished shopping for the holidays.

People shop too much. Everywhere shoppers

camped out, all night in cold 31 degree temps.

to get at the holiday bargains. My question, couldn't

these fools be working somewhere, making some

money instead of freezing on a sidewalk for up to

 18 hours ?

The roads are jammed tight

with shoppers, in gas guzzling S.U.V.'s .

Tomorrow we are observing,

Buy Nothing Day. Stay home,

buy  only online from Sunday on.

I don't want a pickle, I just want to ride my

motorcickle.

I don't want to die, I'd rather ride  on my

motorcy. ~ Arlo Guthrie

YouTube - Arlo Guthrie/Motorcycle Song

Arlo put together a benefit festival in the fall of 1975 for ...

It was about 1974 the last time I owned a motorcy.

I owned a 1972 Honda 100 street bike.

The top speed was about 68 MPH.

I drove it that fast, just about all the time.

I wore it out in just 2 years.That motor-cickle

got 100 miles to a gallon and gas was about

39 cents per gallon.

I have dreamed of one day having a little

motor-bike to ride and enjoy the fresh air

and the free feeling of whipping down the

boulevard. Well gas is climbing to $4 per gallon.

The creation of  more polution and greenhouse gases would

prohibit such a foolish purchase, such as a little Honda.

Well at last, a solution! I have found my dream vehicle !

Vectrix Electric Scooter

Not only does it go from zero to 50 in 6.8 seconds, you don't take it to the gas station for refueling. Instead, you plug it into a standard 110-volt outlet for two to three hours. As good as you'll feel about saving cash at the pump, you'll feel even better knowing this maxi-scooter (it tops out at 62 mph even though it looks like a racer) is a zero-emissions vehicle.

I want mine in silver paint and when I get it I am going to ride it everywhere!

Every day I try to think of new ways to

preserve the environment and do what

I can to conserve.

To live without shopping is almost impossible.

I do bring my own shopping bag. Almost never

do I see anyone else bringing a shopping tote bag.

If you buy a nut or bolt at the hardware store the clerk

automatically drops the purchase in a bag.

I Just say 'keep the bag" "try to save trees" this

will always get you a strange look or reaction.

Plastic trees? they are thinking. If the earth continues

on its path we may only have "plastic trees" left.

I try not to buy anything plastic or petroleum based.

Live green, think green. Don't buy "made in China"

or sweatshop produced items, is another nearly

impossible task. But I try

Everyday, out in the motorized world. I notice the long

lines at the fast food joints.

I never visited those places until I became a member

of the rat race in 1994, by moving to Texas.

Will my 3 month old son eat at these fast food joints.

Hell no! Will I give in to the pressure of advertising

bombarding our youngster ? Not if I can help it.

A good start is keep the propaganda machine,(t.v.) off.

We are exposed to ads everwhere. How can you avoid

eating at the hamburger chains on every corner?

Cooking healthy, nutritious meals at home,

is my answer. http://nutritious-cooking.com/

Eat vegan, and organic when possible.
