Well St. Patty's Day is here shoppers!

My favorite holiday because spring is near!

My new wife and I are out shopping today,

not for St. Pat's gifts but we are completely

redecorating our home. My former bachelor

pad, is being transformed into an IKEA

showplace.

This is me 12 years ago. Just before

embarking on my journey to Texas.

 Over 1000 miles from my home in

Savannah, Ga to Fort Worth.

I had a copy of Frank Sinatra's "New York".

 Played it the whole way, singing out  loud,

"Fort Worth, Fort Worth, If I can make it there

I'll make it anywhere!" I loved starting my new

life in Texas. I had 4 wisdom teeth pulled the

afternoon before I left. I was very happy and

felt no pain at all, from the dental surgery or

leaving my family and friends. ~MK
