Very cold here in Old Cowtown this a.m. I hate to get out in it. We plan on taking the New Years off from Thurs. thru Sun. Maybe go to Austin look at the lights and fireworks. Mo and Ro have not done anything with the Website or Blogs, We can't use imagestation for photos, as far as I can tell you can't use photos, except on the Website of Imagestation, and Webshots, HP, probably only on the 2 websites we have can we store and use photos. Oh well we'll figure it out before February is out. MK

What's so funny 'bout peace love & understanding?

 by Nick Lowe

As I walk through
This wicked world
Searchin' for light in the darkness of insanity.

I ask myself
Is all hope lost?
Is there only pain and hatred, and misery?

And each time I feel like this inside,
There's one thing I wanna know:
What's so funny 'bout peace love & understanding?
What's so funny 'bout peace love & understanding?

And as I walked on
Through troubled times
My spirit gets so downhearted sometimes
So where are the strong
And who are the trusted?
And where is the harmony?
Sweet harmony.

'Cause each time I feel it slippin' away, just makes me wanna cry.
What's so funny 'bout peace love & understanding?
What's so funny 'bout peace love & understanding?

So where are the strong?
And who are the trusted?
And where is the harmony?
Sweet harmony.

'Cause each time I feel it slippin' away, just makes me wanna cry.
What's so funny 'bout peace love & understanding?

Waiting waiting waiting...... on hold for over 30 minutes, with Sprint pcs, good thing for speaker phones, the waitng musak sucks, answers to questions about phone service cannot be found on website. more waiting. Our daily lives involve soooo much waiting. As I told Ro, I would rather be waiting in line at the P.O. than mucking leaves out of a pool. Old Pappy Kellogs, used to say waiting is better than being drunk and on the cold jailhouse floor. Long lines of shoppers waiting wating , more waiting in line to see a crappy Hollywood movie. I say stay home and watch a video.

I saw the film,"Barbershop" last night , I' liked it, the music was fun too. I usually don't like hip, or hop, or rap, but a fun movie that brought up some controversial subjects , about black legends Rosa Parks, MLK, Jesse Jackson. I saw "The Sopranos" on dvd also. A very funny episode 11,"Pine Barrens" , Paulie and Christopher are lost in the woods. Last day before the holiday week. yeahaaa!, or is it yahoo?, or woohoo?, alot of variations on the old "hip hip hurray" I say eat at "T.G.I.F."

...I don't care if I do die do die do.. Johnny Cash

Gary Stewart  country singer found dead today , from a self inflicted gunshot to the head ,best known for , I've got this "drinkin' thing", it keeps me from thinkin' things, his last recording was "live at Billy Bob's",read this article http://www.cmt.com/news/articles/1481143/20031216/stewart_gary_1_.jhtml?headlines=true

Gary Stewart

Ten Years Of This

You'd never know by looking
We were ever more than strangers
But, we're celebrating ten years
Of wedded bliss

She made the rounds as usual
While, I sit here stoned, as usual
Lord, I can't believe we survived
Ten years of this!

Ten years together
A million nights alone
Whose mistake is it?
What do we blame it on?

If someone else would tell me
What I already know in my mind
I'm afraid I'd start talking
With my fists

But, I know.. I'm lieing
What ain't dead, by now is dying
What in hell kept us together
For ten years of this?

Ten years together
A million nights alone!
Whose mistake is it?
What do we blame it on?

Maybe you start cheating
Because you married so young
Whatever it is, I cain't go home

I know, I cain't take it
Too long, I've had to fake it
I just don't think we can make it

Through ten more years of this...!

What has 4 legs and one arm? A Rottweiler. I have missed my early appointment to service a pool with a very large Rottweiler in the backyard. Instead I had a delicious breakfast of a cheese omelet, with smokey sausage links and fresh tomato, and fresh hot coffee. A great way to start the day for me, I'll deal with the Rottweiler later.

Song: Does Fort Worth Ever Cross Your Mind
Artist: George Strait

Cold Fort Worth beer just ain't no good for jealous
I've tried it night after night
You're in someone else's arms in Dallas
Does Fort Worth ever cross your mind
Darlin' while you're busy burnin' bridges
Burn one for me if you get time
Cause good memories don't fade so easy
Does Fort Worth ever cross your mind
You left me here to be with him in Dallas
And I know ithurt you at the time
Well I wonder now if it makes a difference
Does Fort Worth ever cross your mind
You left me here to be with him in Dallas
And I know it hurt you at the time
Well I wonder now if it makes a difference
Does Fort Worth ever cross your mind
Does Fort Worth ever, does Fort Worth ever
Does Fort Worth ever cross your mind

Mo, are you there? You are not going to believe our new website. It is incredible. I am scared to death to see what happens to all the formatting and links once I load it. When I bought the website last night, the email they sent me said that it would not be functional for 24 to 48 hours. I am going to go see if I can access it right now. If so, even though I have one more page to complete, I am going to try to publish it so you can see. You will love the little watersprite who appears on every page.

Leaves everywhere! clogging up swimming pool skimmers, and pump baskets. Ro is working on a fantastic mew website, with a catalogue. Finally, we will be moving in the right direction, in this very small pool business. We will have a new blog specifically for pool stuff. I thought of "pool poop".The name pool poop reminds me of my first pool, when I came home from a day of fishing at Daufuskee Island,S.C. Ready to jump in my above ground pool to cool off. I was told by the neighborhood kids,"T" and "E", "Don't jump in the pool, Erin pooped in it" , For years after that "E" would introduce her friend Erin with "You remember Erin, she's the one who pooped in your pool". Adios for now MK

Freezing cold here in NE Texas, If you don't think it's cold try putting your hands in a swimming pool skimmer basket. The hands never do move like you want when holding a frozen pole scooping out leaves. The wind blowing hard bringing wind-chills to the teens. Oh well it could be worse. Still trying to configure this here blog, I get reports that no images are being seen, even though I am staring at my own image here. I'll figure it out or my name is not John Bartholomew Tucker. Back in my day , we played baaaseball with sticks and rocks, and typing was for girls to learn to be secretaries, and computers took up a whole room, and only certain highly trained scientist types knew what they were about. And Spanish was a foreign language , that MK did not need to know a thousand miles from nowhere anybody spoke it. Hasta la vista mis amigos . MK

I saw a Porky Pig cartoon, on my phone. Now my fellow shoppers can not only talk,("what's up, not much... what's up wi' you, oh I gotta go, can't miss this game on my cell-phone t.v.") very important to everyone, of course while barrelling down the boulevard ,manouvering around in 2000 pounds of steel. Woman Trampled, Knocked Unconscious By Wal-Mart Shoppers   The frenzy for bargains has left at least one woman seriously injured. These shoppers that wait up all night , stand in line,to save $20 amaize me, and now risking their lives. For what? a dvd player? next year it'll be a t-vo player or something new. I don't understand why shoppers have to have all those crummy movies on tape or dvd to watch again? The first veiwing was too much for me. I just sold on Ebay my collection of VCR tapes, for a fraction of the original cost. Remember 8 track tapes? cassettes, record albums? All gone or going. I won't get caught up in the frenzy will you? adios MK

Already Dec.1st, time flies when yer havin' fun. Back to work, must complete all projects before the cold of winter sets in. Maria, aka (Ro)will be in today to help straighten out the messed up books. A good start to the retail sales,on-line sales still a fraction of the total  for the holiday shopping season. I prefer to shop on-line, I don't care for crowds, and trying to find assistance, I can find what I want usually at the best price, ask questions, by email, research, and have it delivered to my door, if I choose.Have a good shopping day my fellow e-shoppers.Time for me to go get into the cold pools. Adios ,MK
